Vietnam with the Mavic 4 Pro
YouTuber davetke2002 recently shared this cinematic footage of Vietnam shot with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. The video features footage of the iconic rice terraces the country is known for, opening at dawn and following the landscape through changing light conditions. It’s a peaceful, dreamy glimpse of another world, with beautiful shots of the terraces and people in ceremonial clothing walking the green fields. How to Avoid Crashing Your Drone

Crashing your drone is pretty common, especially for newer pilots. But a lot of crashes are actually preventable. In this video, we cover four tips to help you avoid common mistakes that can lead to crashing, including:
- Start by hovering your drone. This lets you take stock of how the drone’s doing while also checking flying conditions.
- Position the drone correctly. Make sure the camera is facing away from you, so the drone goes where you intend for it to go.
- Understand the area. Knowing what’s around you and where potential obstacles might be can help you avoid potential collisions, and improve your overall sense of where you can safely fly after you take off.
- Be cautious flying near objects. A lot of crashes happen when a pilot accidentally collides with an object while flying. That’s why it’s important to be aware of objects in the area, and be especially careful when flying near them.
