While this video is pretty juicy as far as leaks go—always nice to see a battered prototype in the wild—it also reveals a little more about what we might expect from the Mavic 4 Pro.

Leaked Release Date and Price for the Mavic 4 Pro

Before we get into the leaked specs for the Mavic 4 Pro, here’s the info you might be most interested in:

• Anticipated release date. Leaks say we can expect the Mavic 4 Pro in April of this year—if not sooner.
• Price. Pricing is estimated to start at $2,800 for the “Classic” version, with a “Cine” version potentially ranging between $4,000 and $5,009. (The Mavic 3 Pro starts at $2,199, going up to $4,799 for the Cine version.)

Big Upgrades Revealed in Latest Mavic 4 Pro Leaks

Recent leaks have told us quite a lot about what we can expect from the Mavic 4 Pro.

1. Upgraded Circular, Triple-Camera Module

One of the biggest upgrades is that the Mavic 4 Pro is rumored to feature a new triple-camera setup, arranged in a circular module.

To clarify, the Mavic 3 series were the first drones to have a triple-camera module. So that part isn’t new, but the design of the module is.

The module is expected to offer multiple focal lengths, including a wide-angle lens, a medium telephoto, and a longer zoom option. Specifically, the three distinct zoom levels are expected to be: 1x (24mm), 2.5x (50mm), and 6x (145mm).

It’s also rumored that the Mavic 4 Pro camera system will have:

• Vertical shooting. Have vertical shooting capabilities for social media content creators.
• Low light shooting. Have a brighter f/2.0 aperture on the main camera, improving low-light performance.
• D-Log recording. Support D-Log recording for professional-grade footage.
• 6K video. Come with 6K video that records at 50/60fps and 100MP stills.

2. 50 Minutes Flight Time

3. New Airframe Design, Build, and Upgraded Features

Leaks show that the Mavic 4 Pro will come with a redesigned airframe.

Don’t worry—the new Mavic will maintain the familiar folding design we know and love, but with some notable refinements.

Leaked images suggest a sleeker profile with improved aerodynamics, potentially contributing to longer flight times (see the 50 minute flight time covered above) and enhanced stability for flying in harsh weather.

4. Intelligent Features

Leaked footage suggests enhanced tracking capabilities and new autonomous flight modes, which could make complex shots easier to capture.
