More Mavic 4 Leaks: Mavic 4 Enterprise Appears in Leaked Video
BY Zacc Dukowitz
19 November 2024Last week we reported on a video shot secretly from outside DJI HQ, which showed engineers working on what appeared to be a Mavic 4.
This week we have another leaked video, this time of the Mavic 4 Enterprise, making it seem like a Mavic 4 launch is definitely in the works.
Hello #Mavic4 #Enterprise. We can’t see a name on the arm but this obviously is another crashed test subject. Good to see the very thin arms survived. A crash this time. What can we conclude from this camera setup? Cheers pic.twitter.com/RvaTgKfHfJ

What Can We Tell from the Video?
Though it’s a short, jumpy video, there are still several things we can glean from the footage.
1. Large Camera System
The camera system on this prototype looks huge, and seems to include:
- A telephoto lens
- A wide-angle lens
- A thermal camera
- And a range finder
2. RTK and Expansion Port
We can see what look like professional-grade accessories in the footage, including:
- An RTK module on top for enhanced positioning accuracy
- An LED beacon for enhanced visibility
- An expansion port on the rear for connecting accessories like loudspeakers, LED beacons, and spotlights
- What looks like a loudspeaker, which could be useful for public safety work
- A spotlight for search missions / night operations (another public safety accessory)
3. No LiDAR Sensor
The DJI Air 3S, which was released just last month, comes with a LiDAR sensor to support night flying.
There’s been speculation that the Mavic 4 would come with a LiDAR sensor too, but this prototype doesn’t seem to have one. But that could just be because it’s an early prototype—we’ll have to wait and see.
4. Different Camera Housing
While the Mavic 4 we saw in last week’s leaked video has a spherical housing for the camera, this camera system in this leaked video has a boxy design.
Again, it’s too early to know if this means the Mavic 4 and Mavic 4 Enterprise will have different camera housings or if the difference can be attributed to the drones being early in the design phase.
5. It’s Pretty Dang Tough
One thing that stands out in this video is that the drone has clearly been put through its paces, and seems to be doing OK.
Despite visible dirt and scratches the overall airframe seems just fine. Also on the toughness front, this version of the Mavic Enterprise seems to have more robust arms than in previous models, which could help improve crash resistance.
All the Mavic 4 Leaks So Far
It’s important to call out that the leak we’re covering this week is for the Mavic 4 Enterprise, not the Mavic 4.
And it’s the first leak so far for the Enterprise version—before this, all the leaks we’ve seen have been for the 4.
Here they are, listed from most recent to oldest:

Well hello #Mavic4. Someone searched the DJI building long enough to have a peek at the developers. First we see the big lens #M4pro getting charged up and later in the video there appears to be the normal M4 on a stand. Interesting. Cheers Jasper pic.twitter.com/tSf9VxXiaA

I am positive this is the #Mavic4 FCC registration. We see a bigger battery, indicating flight time improvements and a #double registration like previous Cine and Pro versions. DJI is trying to hide the FCC names but it doesn’t matter. Hello #Mavic4. pic.twitter.com/qB3IvfQooZ

FCC listings for two new DJI models (JV31 and JV32) are discovered, hinting at a larger 99.5 Wh battery for the Mavic 4.

So. A wild #Mavic4 popped up in China yesterday, notice the absence of sensors on the front and the camera being a perfect sphere making it possible to even photograph straight up. Will we see this before Christmas? Cheers! pic.twitter.com/GvHPtlKjP6
