What Does Footage from Antigravity’s 360 Drone Look Like?
YouTuber Jeven Dovey recently shared this footage shot with the Antigravity A1, the first drone built around a native 8K 360° camera system. Captured in full panoramic detail, the A1’s dual-lens design seamlessly erases the drone mid-flight, letting you capture shots that include almost every angle, giving you a range of options in post-production. Watch the video to see some examples of what the A1 can capture.

Iceland’s dramatic volcanic landscapes, with their frequent eruptions and unique geology, offer ideal conditions for aerial storytelling. In this video shot by creator QiYalun entirely on the DJI Inspire 3, the island’s erupting volcanoes are captured in all their majesty. Captured in 8K, molten lava flows and crashing waves leap off the screen with pinpoint fidelity—a credit to the Inspire 3’s full-frame X9-8K Air sensor and up to 14 stops of dynamic range. Watch the video if you’re in need of some inspiration—there’s plenty to go around in this cinematic aerial short.

Recently in Rome over 3,000 drones lit up the night above St. Peter’s Square for the Vatican’s “Grace for the World” concert, recreating famous masterpieces in the night sky. Drone formations depicted the hands from the Sistine Chapel’s iconic Creation of Adam, the soaring dome of St. Peter’s Basilica, and Michelangelo’s marble Pietà statue from inside St. Peter’s Basilica, transforming centuries-old art into living light. Orchestrated by Nova Sky Stories, the spectacle merged music, faith, and technology for a massive crowd of 80,000 people, marking the first time the Vatican has ever put on a drone light show.

Webinar Next Week: How Advanced Drone Sensors Are Transforming Industrial Inspections
Next Thursday, September 25, Zacc Dukowitz of UAV Coach will lead a webinar exploring how cutting-edge LiDAR, gas detection, and ultrasonic thickness sensors are transforming industrial drone inspections. But having advanced sensors is only half the story—success depends on deploying them creatively to capture the precise data each inspection demands. Hosted by MFE Inspection Solutions, this session also features three professional drone pilots from Acuren sharing case studies and real-world insights. SiFly Breaks Guinness Record for Longest Drone Flight

The SiFly Q12
SiFly Aviation’s Q12 multirotor has broken the Guinness World Record for longest electric drone flight, clocking an incredible 3 hours, 11 minutes, and 54 seconds over California’s Salinas Valley. To secure the record, the Q12 autonomously orbited for nearly 90 miles, and was witnessed by NASA and Apple engineers. With over three hours airborne, SiFly’s platform demonstrates what true persistence looks like for BVLOS, mapping, and inspection. The previous record was for two hours and 14 minutes—SiFly almost added an hour to that.
