Azerbaijan Drone Regulations
Use of civilian UAVs is currently prohibited
Drones may not be brought into or operated within Azerbaijan because, under the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Martial Law” and the related Presidential Decree declaring martial law, the use of all civilian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), regardless of ownership, is prohibited nationwide for the duration of martial law. This prohibition applies to all civilian drones and has been formally announced by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan as a safety and security measure.
Here is Azerbaijan’s public announcement.

Know something we don’t about drone laws in Azerbaijan? Send us an email at support@uavcoach.com. We are not international aviation attorneys and do our best to keep this page up-to-date for drone pilots, but the reality is that given the pace of the small unmanned aerial system (sUAS) industry and how governments are responding, drone regulations in Azerbaijan can change throughout the year, and those changes can be hard to track. If we missed something, please reach out to let us know.
