DJI Announces Restock Ahead of Tariff Price Hikes
BY Zacc Dukowitz
23 April 2025DJI just announced a major restock, responding to weeks of thin inventory and mounting frustration about limited supply.
This move comes at a critical moment. New tariffs on Chinese electronics are about to be felt, and DJI warns that prices will rise as soon as current stock runs out.

The DJI Air 3S is back in stock—for now
In an email making the announcement, DJI made it clear that price hikes are coming soon, writing “Get yours at pre-tariff pricing—limited supply, don’t miss out!”
For anyone eyeing a DJI drone, the message is clear—buy now or risk paying more. Or waiting weeks, as supply chain bottlenecks and customs delays continue to disrupt availability.

Should You Buy Now or Wait?
This restock may be the last chance to buy these three DJI drones—or any DJI drone—at current prices before tariffs drive costs up.
Once existing inventory sells out, new shipments will be subject to higher import duties, which DJI has confirmed will be passed on to consumers. That means price increases are all but certain for the same drones in the near future.
Waiting for future restocks could be risky—ongoing supply chain and customs issues could lead to more delays and even tighter inventory.
And if you’re hoping for a better deal or planning to wait for the next model release, we should note that new launches—like the Mavic 4 Pro or Mini 5 Pro—are still months away and will likely debut at higher prices due to the new tariffs.
In short: if you want a DJI drone at today’s rates, now is the time to act. Delaying could mean paying more or waiting weeks, if not months, for restocks.
