Here at UAV Coach we’re excited to announce our new media partnership with the New York City Drone Film Festival.

New York City Drone Film Festival IV – March 3rd & 4th

We’ve been attending the festival since 2016, and we love the event.

Every year the NYC DFF showcases incredible videos from all over the world, as well as featuring panels and lectures by some of the top cinematographers and drone industry professionals out there.

The New York City Drone Film Festival is the world’s first event exclusively dedicated to celebrating the art of drone cinematography. The festival offers an international platform for filmmakers from every corner of the globe to exhibit their work in front of industry professionals and the drone community.

NYC DFF website

On March 3rd and 4th the NYC DFF will host its fourth annual film festival, and they’ve grown like crazy over the last few years.

To gauge how much they’ve grown, just look at how many submissions they’ve gotten over the years.

In 2015 the NYC DFF received about 180 submissions. In 2016 they received 355, about double the previous year. But then—get this—in 2017 they had over 4,000 videos submitted for consideration.

We can only imagine how many they’ll get this year.
